LocateMyWill.com provides a single service. We do not have multiple services or require you to make multiple choices. Our one service: We help your heirs locate your Will or Trust, and to learn your wishes and important information - but only if you have registered your Will or Trust with us.
We are a Will and Trust Registration Service
We won’t write your Will or Trust; we won’t review it or provide editorial comments. We don’t provide legal services or advice.
What we do – and to our knowledge we are the only ones doing this – we give you a place to register your Will or Trust online so that when you’re gone your heirs can easily locate your Will or Trust and know that it is the latest version. But we do much more, as you will see below.
Maybe you had a lawyer write your Will or Trust, and the Will or Trust is kept at the law firm in a file folder under your name. But that may have been twenty or more years ago, and the Will or Trust and its file folder are now in a filing box in deep storage. The lawyer has long ago retired and the firm has merged three times and relocated twice.
But even though the successor law firm still has the file, no one in your family remembers what lawyer you went to, and if someone does, and they locate the law firm, how do they know that ten years later you visited another lawyer who wrote you a new Will or Trust when you changed a few things? Our services solve that problem.
For only $25, you can open an account on LocateMyWill.com, where your heirs will be able to find out where your Will is located and what is the date of the latest version, and find your answer to the numerous questions they will have when you’re gone.
We also provide you with a password-protected secure encrypted storage area where you can upload your Will or Trust (if you choose), and some photos and documents. More importantly, you can leave answers to the most asked questions, questions that are not answered in your Will, such as what kind of funeral or Celebration of Life do you want? Do you want to be buried or cremated? If buried, do you have a purchased plot at a cemetery, and what kind of coffin do you want? If cremated, do you wish for the ashes to be kept or scattered someplace special?
What church, what Pastor or Priest? Any special hymns or songs? When is your mortgage or rent payment due and to whom? Who do you want to take care of your dogs and cat? There are many, many questions that you can answer for those who remain, and we provide a longer listing of them when you sign up. Beyond your first year on LocateMyWill.com, additional years are priced at only $10 per year for the Standard Plan and $15 per year for the Upgrade Plan. We won’t be doing any auto-renews. We don’t believe in, or like, automatic renewals. At $10 or $15 per year per account we don’t expect to become wealthy. But we do believe that paying this small sum each year requires you to go on our site at least once a year and keep your information up-to-date.

LocateMyWill.com uses the most secure web servers in the business. Your private information will be kept in password-protected encrypted storage. We use only the best, most secure servers. We back up everything regularly to an off-site server located far from our primary server. Our server is monitored around the clock against hacking.


We do not sell any of your information to anyone. We do not share any of your information with anyone. We cannot even view your private information. We respect and preserve your confidentiality.
